The Flying Eagles are now just a match away from qualifying for the 2025 FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile after they finished runners-up in Group B following a battling 2-2 draw with Kenya.
They thus finished second in Group B with five points from three matches and will clash with the runners-up in Group C in the quarterfinal in Ismailia.
The quarterfinal will be played Monday with kick-off time put at 1pm Nigerian time.
Morocco won the group on seven points after they beat Tunisia 3-1 in a North African Derby.

Kenya regained the lead in the 68th minute, when they finished off a free kick at the edge of the Nigerian box.
Captain Daniel Bameyi restored parity moments later from the penalty spot after substitute Mendos Rickson was brought down inside the box by a desperate Kenyan tackle.
