Flying Eagles central defender Igoh Ogbu has joined Norwegian second division club Sogndal from Rosenborg BK on a permanent basis, according to his agent.
“Igohogbu has been sold from @rosenborgballklub to @sogndalfotball1926,” announced the player’s agent Atta Aneke on Instagram.
He has signed a contract for two and a half years to end December 31, 2022.
Last season, Ogbu, 20, played on loan at Norwegian second division club Sogndal, but they again failed to gain promotion back to the top league in the playoffs.
He scored a goal in 27 matches in all competitions last season.
He has teamed up with fellow Flying Eagles teammate Jerome Akor.
Ogbu, who has also been capped by Nigeria U17 level, signed for Rosenborg in April 2018.
