He may have cost below two million Euros just a few months ago, but Partizan Belgrade now want as much as 15 million Euros for Sadiq Umar after he painted Serbia with goals.
The 23-year-old striker, who stands at 1.92 metres and weighs 85 kg, is technically sound with a good footwork and knows his way to goal after he failed to make the grade at Scottish club Glasgow Rangers last year.
This season in the Serbian Super Liga, Umar has scored 12 goals and provided 13 assists in 24 games.
He has delivered 17 goals in all competitions thus far.
With 0.43 assists a game, he is the assist king among the top strikers in the entire league.
His passing accuracy is 78.7% to underline his technical prowess and place him as fifth in the Serbian league.
He has posted an impressive 0.65 goals per game in the league and 0.45 in the UEFA Europa League.
It has been reported that an unnamed Qatari side tabled a 10 million Euros bid for him but it was rejected by Partizan.
Not many clubs can afford the 15 million Euros price tag for the former AS Roma star particularly with the adverse effects caused by the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The transfer market put his value at about two million Euros.
And when it is noted that Partizan are yet to record an outgoing transfer of more than 10 million Euros, it becomes more understandable they will not receive a bid to match their 15 million Euros.
But what is most interesting is that almost a score of top clubs, from Manchester United to Bayer Leverkusen, have been tracking Umar and as such one cannot still rule out a massive offer to be tabled for this marksman.
