Despite playing out an encouraging 2-2 draw with Ukraine in Dnipro this month, the Super Eagles have dropped a spot to 34th in the latest FIFA Rankings released today.
The youngest ever Super Eagles team under coach Gernot Rohr raced to a 2-0 lead in the first half only for the host team to fight back and draw 2-2 in a highly entertaining friendly.
However, the Eagles remain third in Africa behind Africa’s top rated team Senegal and Tunisia.
Next month, the three-time African champions will tackle five-time world champions in a high-profile friendly in Singapore.
The team also plan a second friendly preferably against an African team.
