Sources at the anti-corruption agency ICPC have revealed that investigations show that top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have “much dirty linens”.
A wide-ranging corruption probe on NFF top officials led by president Amaju Pinnick has made progress, according to officials.
The ICPC spokesperson, Rasheedat Okoduwa, said more facts had emerged, although she refused to divulge details.
“As we proceed, the facts become clearer and clearer,” Okoduwa told The Punch.
The anti-graft agency has so far seized 15 properties belonging to these officials as the probe has intensified.
A public notice in two national newspapers signed by the ICPC chairman warned any one from transacting business on the properties.
NFF secretariat officials have also been invited to give evidence.
Another anti-graft agency, EFCC, is also investigating the NFF top shots.
