Coach Manu Garba has revealed he is still on the lookout for a goalkeeper and a left back so as to be ready for the U17 World Cup in Brazil.
“We have a pool of good players, but we are still looking for a goalkeeper and a left back,” Manu disclosed.
The coach has already submitted his 50-man provisional squad to beat a September 26 deadline set by FIFA.
The Golden Eaglets are due to depart for Turkey this weekend for an invitational tournament to prepare for the World Cup in Brazil next month.
They have been drawn against Australia, Hungary and Ecuador in the first round of the U17 World Cup.
