The chairman of the FCT Football Association, Adam Mouktar Mohammed, has inspected the progress of work for the rebuilding of the Bwari Township Stadium in the capital territory.

Mouktar Mohammed was accompanied on the inspection visit by the chairman of the Bwari Area Council, John Gabaya, who is incidentally also vice-chairman of the FCT FA.
The rebuilding of the stadium is being undertaken by the Federal Government and it includes the installation of a standard artificial pitch, athletes’ hostel and covered stands.
“We thank the Federal Government for upgrading this facility. This can only be to the benefit of the youths and the entire community,” Mouktar Mohammed said.
“We hope for more of such projects as they can only assist in the development of sports at grassroots level.”
The provision of sporting infrastructure is one of the pillars of the administration of the FCT FA chairman.
