Anderson Esiti is set to ink a bumper deal with Greek champions PAOK Thessaloniki as he was missing at KAA Gent training Wednesday.
Esiti bid his Belgian club mates farewell Tuesday.
Genk will receive a transfer fee of between three to four million Euros while Esiti will earn more than double of what he got at Gent.
‘The Buffalos’ would also make a profit on the midfielder who in 2016 joined them for a fee of 1.5 million Euros from Portuguese club Estoril.
Last season, a move to La Liga Levante fell through, which left the big defensive midfielder devastated.
He played for Leixoes Sport Club and Estroli (both in Portugal).
The 25-year-old midfielder has a full international cap for Nigeria in 2015.
