Despite media reports that Victor Osimhen is set to quit Sporting Charleroi for French Ligue 1 outfit Lille, the striker himself has told SCORENigeria he is still very much at his Belgian club.
“I love the club, Bayat (chairman) and Mazzu (coach) gave me the opportunity to play for the club and I am very grateful and that’s the much I can say,” he told SCORENigeria
Pressed further, he said, “I am not in any position to discuss my transfer. My job is to play football.
“What you are asking is the job of my representatives Jean Gerard, Shira Yusuf and Ariyo Igbayilola. Those are the people you should get in contact with”.
Charleroi snapped up Osimhen after his loan spell from German Bundesliga club Wolfsburg.
He was wanted by Italian giants AC Milan in the January transfer window.
