Emmanuel Ekong has left top Swedish club Malmo even with three and half years left on his contract.
The 24-year-old striker is now set to sign for Croatian club Hadjuk Split, according to Aftonbladet.
However, it has yet to be ascertained whether the transfer is a loan or a permanent one.
The son of former Super Eagles star Prince Ikpe Ekong has struggled for game time since his transfer from Serie a club Empoli last year.
He had vowed to fight for his place at Malmo before this transfer.
