Spain underlined their dominance at the 2026 World Cup after they swept the individual awards of the tournament.
Young Barcelona central defender Pau Cubarsi was named the Young Player of the World Cup as he was ever-present for Spain right up to the final against Argentina.
Spain captain Rodri, the Ballon d’Or winner two years ago, was named the best player of the tournament, while goalkeeper Unai Simon was the best goalkeeper.
Simon only conceded only a goal in the eight games Spain played leading up to the championship game.
France captain Kylian Mbappe won the Golden Boot after he netted 10 goals.
He now holds the all-time goals record at the World Cup with 22 goals.
