Fresh on joining Lazio, Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has spoken on his aspirations on signing for the Italian side.
He granted his first interview at the club and sounded very elated to begin the journey.
“I feel very excited joining a massive club like Lazio with amazing fans in a big city,” he told Lazio Style channel.
“I can’t wait to get started.
“There were some interests around January, though I was just focused on finishing my season with Hatayspor, but I always knew this was the club i wanted to come to.”
He added: “I hope to play as many games as possible, win some trophies and finish the season in the top four in the league table.”
The Super Eagles forward is a season-long loan with an obligation for the Serie A club to sign him permanently thereafter.
