Super Falcons debutant Salome Zogg has warmed her way to the heart of coach Randy Waldrum, who said he hopes to continue to work with her after she impressed on her debut at the Summer Series in Texas, USA.
The Switzerland-based fullback debuted against Jamaica and also featured in a thrilling 3-3 draw with higher ranked Portugal.
“She’s a good, young player, she’s somebody we want to keep bringing back to camp,” he remarked.
“This was the first time we have seen her in person.
“The good thing is she’s playing regularly in Switzerland as it’s important that the players are playing at a top level.
“She has clearly made her mark and she is somebody we will continue to invest time on.”
