FC Hearts midfielder David Emmanuel has joined the Bayern Munich Global Academy on a year’s scholarship.
The highly-rated defensive midfielder will during his time at the Bayern Academy receive professional training under UEFA-licensed coaches.
The academy will afford promising youngsters the chance to develop their game, from housing and nutrition to medical supervision and opportunities to compete against other elite youth teams.
Another FC Hearts graduate, Daniel Francis, signed a pro contract with Bayern Munich last year.
