Stakeholders Harrison Jalla and Oyetunde Aderibigbe have initiated appeal proceedings against the ruling by the Federal High Court Abuja headed by Ijeoma Ojukwu, which purportedy discharged and acquitted NFF president Amaju Pinnick and four other top officials.
According to InsideGlassHouse.com Jalla and Aderibigbe as “Interested Party” will soon get a date for hearing in their appeal against “dubious” ruling by Justice Ojukwu that left Pinnick, 1st Vice President Seyi Akinwunmi, 2nd Vice President Shehu Dikko, NFF Executive Committee member Ahmed Yusuf Fresh and NFF General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi off the hook.
Jalla and Aderibigbe subsequently dragged Justice Ojukwu to the National Judicial Council (NJC) after insisting her ruling in favour of Pinnick and the other officials in suit number FHC/ABJ/93/2019 was “dubious”.
The ruling was handed down on November 5, 2019.
The stakeholders demanded that the conduct of Justice Ojukwu be investigated.
Legal experts have widely questioned this ruling.
