Calvin Bassey has celebrated his UEFA Champions League as Ajax shot past his former club Rangers 4-0 in Amsterdam.
Bassey provided an assist and kept a clean sheet.
The enterprising central defender said it was a night he won’t forget in a hurry.
“God is great. Unbelievable feelings to make my Champions League debut,” he said on Instagram.
“The boys were amazing. Was so good to see so many familiar faces last night.
“Gonna be special to be back at Ibrox in November. We keep working.”
Next week, Ajax travel to Liverpool in continuation of the Champions League group stage.
