Brazil have fired a serious warning to the Flying Eagles ahead of their clash Saturday after they crushed Dominican Republic 6-0 to revive their U20 World Cup hopes.
The Young Samba Stars have thus shot to second place in Group D behind leaders Nigeria, who racked up six points tonight after a 2-0 win over Italy.
Italy have now dropped to third with three points from two matches.
Debutants Dominican Republic are without any points and face Italy in a final group game in Mendoza at the same time the Flying Eagles battle Brazil in La Plata Saturday night.
Kick-off time for both games is 7pm.
The leadership of Group D is therefore open right down to the final group games.
The top two teams in each group with automatically qualify to the Round of 16, while four third-best losers will also go through to the knockout rounds of the tournament.
