Chidera Ejuke, who is widely regarded as the best winger in Holland today, scored his 12th goal of the season even though his club SC Heerenveen fell 4-2 at Vitesse Arnhem.
Ejuke hit target in the 34th minute to draw his team level at 2-2.
It was his eighth goal in the league and he has also scored four goals in the cup.
He took the Dutch league by storm when he joined Heerenveen for 2 million Euros from Norwegian club Valerenga in the summer.
However, he suffered a slight dip in form, before he picked up again to now be regarded as the best wide player in the league.
Heerenveen are 10th on the table with 29 points from 23 matches.
