Top Belgian club Anderlecht have pulled out of a deal to sign Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke because they could not afford what he asked for as salary.
Anderlecht made an offer of 3.5 million euros that was enough to convince Sevilla.
However, according to Sporting Tribune, no agreement was reached with Ejuke.
The player’s wage demands were too high for Anderlecht.
Marca has now reported that Ejuke has been reintegrated into Sevilla’s first team after following an individual program in anticipation of a transfer.
The new Spanish La Liga season kicks off this weekend.
