Former Unique Futbol Academy star Azeez Balogun has got off to a flying start in Brazil after he scored a crucial goal for Sao Paulo to win 4-2 at Nacional in continuation of the U20 league.
Balogun, 18, came off the bench to fire a well-taken solo goal in the 35th minute and put his club in front at 3-2.
It was his first official game for the top Brazilian club.
It was only the first victory for the team.
Last week, the Ibadan-born player trained for the first time with the Sao Paulo first team.
Sao Paulo now have five points from their first three matches of the new Paulista season.
