Angola coach Pedro Goncalves has singled out Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman as the top stars of the Super Eagles ahead of today’s AFCON quarterfinal.
Angola battle Nigeria from 6pm today for a place in the AFCON semifinal.
It will be a battle of two Portuguese coaches on the day as Goncalves comes face-to-face with compatriot Jose Peseiro.
Goncalves has detailed information of the Super Eagles and took time to recount the exploits of both Osimhen and Ademola Lookman in Serie A.
He said he even voted for Osimhen in the 2023 CAF Awards.
The Angola coach also acknowledged that the Super Eagles have found the best formation and strategy to progress at the AFCON.
However, he said it is “a chance in a lifetime” for Angola to upset the Super Eagles today and advance to the semifinal.
