Coach Emmanuel Amuneke has told SCORENigeria Tanzania will play two warm-up matches against Zimbabwe and Egypt ahead of the 2019 AFCON.
The Taifa Stars are staging a remarkable comeback to the Nations Cup 39 years since they last featured in the tournament finals.
“We are presently in camp working round the clock to ensure we give a worthy representation at the AFCON,” Amuneke told SCORENigeria
“We hope to go there in Egypt and prove a point.”
Amuneke qualified the East African country on the final day of the qualifiers with a big home win over group winners and regional rivals Uganda.
Tanzania are grouped with Morocco, Senegal and Namibia and they open their campaign on June 23 against Senegal.
