Alhassan Yusuf has told SCORENigeria that he is looking forward with full confidence to the kick-off of the Swedish league after it was delayed by the outbreak of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The top league in Sweden will begin on June 14.
“We are all happy that the league will now finally start,” Yusuf told SCORENigeria
“We will open the season at home against Elfsborg. It will be great to get off with a win.”
Meanwhile, IFK Swedish Cup quarterfinal against Hammarby Sunday has been postponed till further notice.
The box-to-box midfielder revealed that his top target in the new season is to score more goals after he netted twice in the last campaign.
“I wish to do more in front of goal, I am shooting more at goal and hopefully I will get more goals this season,” he said.
‘Hasse’ also told SCORENigeria he is focused on doing well for his club and has not been carried away by speculations over his future.
He said he has led a normal life in Sweden despite the Coronavirus ravaging the world.
“Life here has been normal, no face masks, I eat in the restaurant and we have not been tested for the Covid-19 disease,” he offered.
