SCORENigeria can report that Kennedy Boboye, who led Akwa United to a historic NPFL championship last season, has been interviewed for the vacant Enugu Rangers coaching post.
It was learnt that Boboye, who also previously led Plateau United to their first-ever NPFL conquest, tabled his personal terms to the committee that quizzed him.
Last month, the former Sunshine Stars coach failed to get Akwa United past the first round of the CAF Champions League.
Several other top coaches including Mangut Mbwas, who has been overseeing Rangers build-up to the new season, have also come before this committee headed by a very influential member of the Enugu State Government cabinet.
Former Super Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf is believed to have mutually terminated his contract with ‘The Flying Antelopes’ so as to take charge of Kano Pillars.
