Just after he made his comeback game this week, Kevin Akpoguma has suffered another injury setback and he is now a major doubt for tomorrow’s Bundesliga clash at Leipzig.
After three months on the sidelines on account of a muscle injury, the experienced defender made his comeback game in a scoreless draw with Bayer Leverkusen Monday.
However, Hoffenheim coach Sebastian Hoeness has admitted they are now sweating on Akpoguma’s fitness after he suffered a knock in the Leverkusen game.
Hoffenheim are 12th on the table with 31 points, while Leipzig are second on 60 points after 28 rounds of matches.
