Super Eagles striker Jerome Akor will complete his transfer to promoted Italian Serie A club Venezia in the new week when he has his routine medical and signs his contract papers.
Tuttomercato reported that Venezia reached an agreement with Sevilla for Akor to join the club on the late evening of July 10, following a visit to Spain by sporting director Antonelli.
The agreement is for a fee of 16 million euros plus bonuses, and the final payment details have been settled.
Akor is expected to join Giovanni Stroppa’s team at the start of the upcoming week.
It is possible his medical examination will be Monday, prior to signing the contract.
