SCORENigeria can exclusively report that Victor Eletu will today join the Flying Eagles World Cup training camp in Abuja after his release was finally secured from AC Milan.
A top source told SCORENigeria: “Eletu played a game yesterday (Wednesday) and he will join the Flying Eagles today.”
The availability of the highly-rated defensive midfielder was a huge doubt after Milan first rejected a request by the NFF for the player to be released by May 1.
Eletu’s arrival will further boost the Flying Eagles midfield that will be expected to rise to the big occasion at the World Cup in Argentina following the return to full fitness by Daniel Daga, new-found form of Samson Lawal and the addition of Bulgaria-based Tochukwu Nadi.
