It has been second time unlucky for Arsenal U21 left winger Joel Ideho after he again missed out on the Flying Eagles final squad cut.
Ideho did not make the squad to the recent U20 AFCON in Egypt after officials said he could not produce a Nigerian passport in time for the competition.
This week, Ideho returned to fight for a place on the final U20 World Cup squad armed with a Nigerian passport.
However, the Dutch-born forward, who came through the famous Ajax youth ranks, was one of several players who were told they won’t be on Saturday night’s flight to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Norwich City centre-forward Kenny Coker also did not make the final cut despite his second coming to the team’s camp.
