Supporters club boss Vincent Okumagba has saluted Super Falcons for putting their lives on the line to beat Korea and revive their Women’s World Cup hopes.
Super Falcons boosted their chances of reaching the knockout rounds of the World Cup in France after they defeated Korea 2-0 in Grenoble Wednesday afternoon.
“The girls the never-say-die spirit of Nigerian teams,” saluted Okumagba, who lead a band of supporters to cheer the Falcons to victory in Grenoble.
“They also took their chances in the game very well.
“We were cheering them even before the goals came and to win 2-0 was no mean feat.
