Samuel Kalu has yet to recover from a hamstring injury he suffered on Super Eagles duty last month.
He headed back to France after the injury in an international friendly against African champions Algeria in Austria about a month ago.
The winger was again missing for Bordeaux in a Ligue 1 clash against Montpellier due to this injury, which his French club announced they could not ascertain when he will fully recover from.
Kalu was subsequently left out of the Super Eagles AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone.
Nigeria welcome the Leone Stars to Benin City on Friday, November 13, with the reverse tie in Freetown four days later.
