‘Simy’ Nwankwo fired his third goal of the Serie A season, but his promoted club Crotone are yet to record their first win of the campaign after they fell 2-1 to Atalanta.
Crotone are bottom of the standings with a solitary point after they lost five of their six matches.
‘Simy’ pulled a goal back for Crotone five minutes from the break after the visitors had scored twice.
Last season, the striker made history when he became the first African to top score in the Italian Serie B with 20 goals.
His goals lifted Crotone back to the top league after an absence of two seasons.
