Paul Onuachu has made the Team of the Week for a second time this season even though he has been frozen out of the Super Eagles for next month’s friendlies against Algeria and Tunisia in Austria.
Onuachu has most certainly put behind a labored outing at last year’s AFCON in Egypt to now be in top scoring form for KRC Genk.
He again proved how lethal he is in front of goal Monday night with a brace against KV Oostende.
He has now scored six goals to become joint top scorer in the Jupiler League after seven rounds of matches.
Ironically, teammate Cyriel Dessers, who has been called up by the Super Eagles, was consigned to the bench for the whole duration of this match.
