Udinese No 1 goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has finally landed in Uyo ahead of the Super Eagles 2027 AFCON qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea Bissau.
SCORENigeria sighted Okoye as he touched down Friday morning in Uyo via Ibom Air.
Officials said he was permitted to attend an official club function and so his late arrival.
Social media has been abuzz after Okoye was seen with American rapper Cardi B partying in Milan at the city’s fashion week Wednesday.
He is effectively ruled out of today’s AFCON clash against Madagascar, which kicks off by 5pm, as he has yet to train with the squad.
The battle for the No 1 shirt is thus between Stanley Nwabali and Arthur Okonkwo.
