The Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA) has demanded for a seat on the NFF executive committee.
This was the position of the NFCA presented by its president, Isa Ladan Bosso, to the FIFA-CAF joint assessment team at a meeting in Abuja Monday.
Bosso said in his presentation that there is a need to make the structure of Nigerian football more inclusive and bring in persons with the relevant capacities.
“Nigeria football structure is defective and excludes key technical people,” his presentation read in part.
“Reform must be inclusive, have equal representation (fair play) and be driven by capacity.”
The NFCA further proposed a maximum term of eight years (2 terms) for NFF executive member and 12 years (3 terms) for a state FA chairman.
The coaches also want better coaching education, better welfare, while membership of the NFCA be made mandatory to get rid of quacks.
