Super Eagles goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo has dropped to third-choice at English Championship club Wrexham, but a loan move would be rather complicated.
The 24-year-old shot stopper is first on the last year of his contract with Wrexham.
The player himself is eager to get away from his club, but his salary would be a stumbling block to a temporary transfer.
The former Arsenal player earns around £1m per year at Wrexham, making any loan deal both tricky and expensive.
Championship clubs Derby County and Charlton Athletic are reported to be interested in Okonkwo.
