Former Manchester United star Gary Neville has advised the Old Trafford club not to pay 20 million pounds for Odion Ighalo because he has not scored enough goals.
Ighalo has scored four goals and provided an assist in eight appearances for the Red Devils on loan from Chinese club Shanghai Shensua.
“Is Ighalo worth £ 20 million? Probably not in this market. He might have been there if he continued to score goals, but you probably don’t have to spend £ 20 million now,” Neville warned United.
The striker’s Chinese club want him back in time for the kick-off of the new season in July, while his loan deal runs out at the end of June.
Another Premier League cub Newcastle United are now reported to be keen on Ighalo especially if they are finally taken over by the Saudi Arabian group.
