Even without a club, Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha was one of the players who caught the eye at the recent World Cup and now he could be changing clubs within weeks.
His career looked set to continue in Chile. Colo-Colo recently presented Vozinha as a new signing and welcomed him to the club on their social media.
Now, however, the deal could fall apart.
According to journalist Raphael Bózeo, Vozinha is instead close to a move to Moroccan club Berkane.
The 40-year-old goalkeeper has not yet joined Colo-Colo. His arrival in Chile has been postponed several times. He was first expected to travel to Santiago on Tuesday, then the trip was moved to Wednesday. He was also expected to arrive on Thursday, but did not show up then either.
At the same time, Berkane are reportedly working to sign him.
According to Raphael Bózeo, the club are in advanced negotiations with Bubista, who was the coach of Cape Verde during the 2026 World Cup. Once that deal is complete, Berkane are expected to make an official bid for Vozinha.
The information suggests that the goalkeeper wants to wait for that offer before deciding where to continue his career.
If the transfer becomes a reality, Vozinha will leave Colo-Colo before he has even had time to play a competitive match for the Chilean club.
