Right2Win Football Club have countered a petition questioning the choice of Aba as venue for the NLO Playoffs.
In a correspondence to the NFF president and copied the NFF disciplinary committee, COO of the NLO and chairman of the South-East Stakeholders Forum, Right2Win stated among other things that the claim by Ekomsy FC and Cynosure FC that the owner of Right2Win is the sporting director of Abia Comets is false and as such there is no conflict of interest as alleged.
Right2Win also stated that the choice of Aba as host city was made by the NLO secretariat on objective criteria – availability of a CAF-approved stadium, security, accommodation, medical facilities and logistics.
The club thus demanded that the playoffs be staged in Aba and that the NFF ensure strict supervisions of the promotional series so as to uphold the integrity of Nigerian football.
