Lagos-born George Ilenikhena, who has now committed his international future to the Super Eagles, scored the winning goal for Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad against South African champions Orlando Pirates.
Ilenikhena came off the bench to score a brilliant solo goal to make it 3-1 in favour of the Saudis.
The pre-season match played in South Africa eventually ended 3-2 in favour of his team.
Former AS Monaco and Antwerp striker Ilenikhena has represented France at age-grade level, but he has now opted to play for the Super Eagles after coach Eric Chelle has been closely monitoring his progress.
