Two out of three Italians are opposed to the resumption of the Serie A on account of lingering health concerns.
Italy has recorded a heavy death toll of more than 27,000 people due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
This comes after the government announced that Serie A clubs could resume full training on May 18 preparatory to the resumption of the league after it was suspended due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
This means that William Ekong (Udinese), Victor Moses (Inter Milan) and Ola Aina (Torino) will be back in full squad with their respective teams on the day.
The plan is for the league to end on August 2.
However, a poll has shown that Italians are not in support of the Serie A continuing after the country’s huge losses due to the Coronavirus.
