The Black Stars of Ghana were great to hold down England to a scoreless draw, according to the legendary Asamoah Gyan.
Ghana are now second in their first round group with four points, same as leaders England, and have punched their ticket to the Round of 32 of the tournament.
“It was a great performance by Ghana. They got the result they needed against England and have now qualified for the knockout rounds of the World Cup,” Gyan said while reviewing the 0-0 draw with England as a pundit on SuperSports TV.
He also praised home-based goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, who kept several clean sheets in the qualifying series for the World Cup.
Ghana will take on Croatia in a final group game at the weekend.
