The verdict is that Bafana Bafana of South Africa were poor in their opening World Cup game against co-hosts Mexico.
Mexico won 2-0 with the South Africans having two men sent off.
Sweden legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic told Fox TV that Bafana Bafana did not impress.
“It was a poor performance by South Africa. But an interesting match with three red cards,” he remarked
“I’m happy for Mexico who got a victory on home soil.”
TV 4 Expert John Gudetti said: “It’s hard to find anything positive (for them South Africa). Two red cards, two sent off and a gross underperformance.”
South Africa will next face Czech Republic, who lost their opening group game 2-1 to Korea.
