Teenage striker George Ilenikhena, who has been watched by Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle, could well be on his way back to Europe after a rather difficult time in Saudi Arabia.
Top Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad splashed 33 million euros on the 19-year-old striker in January.
However, the transfer has not gone to plan as Ilenikhena has yet to score in the five matches he has played for the Saudis since his move.
According to Media Foot, PSV have now inquired about Ilenikhena.
The Eindhoven club are looking for a new striker, as there is a strong possibility that Ricardo Pepi will leave. Additionally, Myron Boadu was only brought in on loan. Therefore, new players are needed.
Ilenikhena has also been linked with newly-crowned Turkish champions Galatasaray.
