Enugu Rangers striker Godwin Obaje is the leading scorer in the NPFL 10 years after he was crowned the league’s top scorer.
Obaje, 30, scored his 11th goal of the season when Rangers beat El Kanemi Warriors 2-0 at home Sunday.
Obaje was the NPFL Goal King in the 2016 season with 18 goals with Wikki Tourist.
His goal at the weekend shot him ahead of the trio of Daddy Abdulrahman (El Kanemi Warriors), Uche Collins (Katsina United) and Joseph Arumala (Ikorodu City), who have each netted 10 goals.
Another former NPFL Goal King Victor Mbaoma has scored nine goals, while four players are on eight goals each – Sodiq Ibrahim (Shooting Stars), Chidozie Iwundu (Rangers), Jephtaph Mairiga (Wikki) and Victor Temitope (Plateau United).
