Galatasaray President Dursan Ozbek has disclosed that the Turkish champions have paid up the 75 million euros transfer fee for Victor Osimhen.
“We have now paid the entire transfer fee for Osimhen,” Ozbek told the media.
Galatasaray agreed with Napoli to pay the record-breaking transfer fee in instalments when they signed him on a permanent basis last summer.
With top Turkish clubs notorious for not paying up transfer fees, Napoli insisted on bank guarantees from Galatasaray for the Osimhen transfer to go through.
The Galatasaray President has said Osimhen has more than justified the hefty transfer fee they paid for the Super Eagles striker.
He said Osimhen has doubled his valuation on the transfer market on the back of his exploits with the Turkish giants.
Dursan Ozbek also confirmed that Osimhen is on 21 million euros-a-year – 15 million euros salary and six million in advertising and sponsorships.
