Ikpeazu made a dramatic entry to the AFCON when he came off the bench to score the late equaliser against East African rivals Tanzania at the weekend.
It was his second goal in four appearances and the 1-1 draw has kept Uganda’s hopes of reaching the Round of 16 even though they languish bottom of Group C after two rounds of matches.
Ikpeazu said the team will back themselves to shock star-studded Super Eagles, when both teams clash tomorrow from 5pm in Fes.
“Hopefully we get the win against Nigeria,” the big striker said.
“We want to try and qualify (for Round of 16), that’s what everyone wants.”
The 30-year-old striker has played for several clubs in England and Scotland as well as Konyaspor in Turkey.
