10. We have a wonderful squad made up of quality and brilliant footballers.
9. These players can be a team if they wished, and they can choose to be off-colour if they chose to be.

8. The quality in this team can overwhelm any team in world football, I repeat world football, if again they wished. And they can lose to the dumbest set-up too, if they wished.
7. They had a fantastic first hour, in fact it’s the best bit of football we have seen of this Super Eagles in the last two years. They controlled, dictated, played out from the back, attacked as a single unit, made crunch tackles and kept their opponents at bay. This is a testament to the capacity of the team to rise to the occasion when they decide to.
6. The team’s dynamics were altered following Eric Chelle’s subs. His removal of Frank Onyeka opened up his defence to attack. The course of the game changed as soon as he brought on two wingers – Moses Simon and Chidera Ejuke, without a like-for-like replacement for Onyeka, if he took him off for his caution, Onyedika would have brought similar composure and presence in that middle.
5. The team are a work in progress, and psychologically are far off from a potential AFCON-winning team. Just a little bit, yes they held on, but those concessions could be costly on another day.

4. This Super Eagles 🦅🇳🇬 have not yet reached their potentials, they could have easily have beaten Tunisia 5-0, 6-0 whatever score they prefer.
3. This result could well be a blessing in disguise, Tunisia’s last half an hour domination left some doubts, as well as some questions on the minds of the players and coaching staff of the Super Eagles. Especially, leaving them with some areas to look at again, and iron out stuff before the knockout phase. Had it gone all Nigeria’s way we would have thought it’s uhuru, but that nervous ending leaves our expectations measured , and the players in check as the competition progresses.
2. This result may be far from perfect, but it’s another three points in the bag, and most especially a place in the knockout phase with a game to spare, affording Chelle the opportunity to give the fringe players a run out in the last game against the Cranes of Uganda.
1. Wins come with momentum, and most especially, were you not entertained? The crowd in Morocco loved that game, it has now edged ahead of South Africa 0-1 Egypt as the most entertaining game of the 35th AFCON.
