Victor Osimhen has declared the Super Eagles are fired up to win the 2025 AFCON after they failed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
“We want to go all the way at this AFCON by trying to win it, which will not be easy, but with the support of the fans and the talented players we have in the squad, we have the chances to get to the final and try to win it,” the Galatasaray striker declared.
“The boys are ready, the coach and his staff have been doing a fantastic job.
“We’re ready to go.”
He continued: “This is a big opportunity for the team to make up for the mistakes of the past.
“We have been so close yet to far.
“We will give everything to achieve this.”
The Super Eagles will open their campaign tomorrow against Tanzania in Fes.
