Samuel Chukwueze scored his first Premier League goals for Fulham and afterwards praised the home fans for pushing them as they fought from 5-1 down to lose 5-4 to Manchester City.
Alex Iwobi hit target and Chukwueze came off the bench to score twice for his London club, but it was not enough to complete a remarkable comeback by Fulham.
“I liked the spirit of the team. The fans were amazing – supportive from 5-1 to 5-4,” saluted the Super Eagles winger.
He got a big hug from City boss Pep Guardiola after this thriller.
He has now scored two goals and made three assists in his last seven appearances for Fulham.
