Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi and fellow OGC Nice teammate Jeremie Boga have filed a complaint with the police after they were attacked by fans of their own French club.
Physically and psychologically scarred by the events – they are on sick leave – the two players went to the city’s police station on Monday to take the necessary steps to identify the perpetrators of the attacks.
Moffi was targeted by over 400 angry Nice fans Sunday evening on the team’s return from a 3-1 loss at his former club Lorient.
This was the team’s sixth straight loss.
